If you live alone or you have a medical condition that could require urgent
assistance, a St John Lifelink™ Medical Alarm will help you keep your
independence and make sure you remain safe, secure and never far from help.
A St John Lifelink™ Medical Alarm is connected directly to St John so there is no double handling of your call for
assistance. And, as part of our service, we will keep your medical details and any
instructions on our confidential database. That means trained ambulance staff will arrive at your home with personal
information on hand to assist you.
Your call will come straight to St John.
We will phone you back to check that your alarm was not set off by mistake. If
you do not answer the phone, we will activate an immediate call out and an
ambulance will be on its way.
No matter where you are in your home, or out in your garden, if ever you need
medical assistance, simply press your St John Lifelink™ Medical Alarm button. It
is that easy. In addition, our medical alarms:
- Will work anywhere in your house or garden
- Have a daily automatic self testing function and battery backup for added
safety
- Are approved for a subsidy from government agencies (subject to meeting
their criteria)
- Are easy to use
- Are lightweight, water resistant and can be worn in the shower
- Connect to a standard telephone jack point
- Includes the cost of ambulance call outs eliminating any cost burden

Free trial period up to 1 month is available subject to the terms and conditions:
Terms and conditions:
The client is entitled to a FREE trial period from the install date shown on the enrolment form to the first payment date. For self-funding clients the
first payment date will be exactly one month from installation of the medical alarm.
For Government funded clients the first fortnightly payment will be the payment
date closest to the end of the one month period but will not be past this period.
i.e. St John installs a medical alarm at Mrs Jones home on July 7, the Government subsidy payments fall fortnightly on the 12th of July, 26th of July,
9th of August and so on. The first payment date for Mrs Jones will be the 26th of July as the 9th of August will fall outside of the up to one month FREE offer.
During the FREE trial period the client is entitled to rent the equipment, to receive the monitoring services and to have the cost of emergency ambulance services
covered at no charge to the client.
If the client cancels this agreement during the up to one month FREE trial period, St John will remove the alarm unit, transmitter and other
peripherals (if any) at no cost to the Client, and no amount will be payable to St John on account of the cancellation.
This offer is available to any new client from the 26th of July 2010.
