St John Caring Caller is a free long-term friendship service that offers those who are housebound, or live on their own, the opportunity to stay in daily contact by phone with someone who cares about them.
It is not a help line. It is friendship by phone that both you and your Caring Caller enjoy.
St John Caring Caller is also a wise precaution, just in case there is an emergency. If your St John Caring Caller calls you and cannot get an answer, we will send someone to your home to make sure all is well. This can be particularly important if your neighbours, friends or family are away or cannot be nearby every day of the week.
