The Healthline including Well Child telephone advice line is a totally free health service that puts you in touch with a registered nurse any time, day or night.

While Healthline can’t diagnose or treat your problems over the phone it does offer professional, friendly advice to help you work out what to do and how quickly to do it. Callers to the service can also speak to a Well Child nurse for expert health and parenting support relating to newborns to five-year-olds.

Healthline is an initiative that’s supported by the Ministry of Health and it's completely free and confidential. The service is provided by McKesson in partnership with St John to provide a new level of service in primary health care.

The Healthline including Well Child advice line is about providing advice on the right level of care at the right time, first time.
