St John Youth is for all young people from 6 to 18 years, with great opportunities for those interested in leadership. It's all about making the most of your time, having fun and meeting new people, all through programmes that will encourage discovery, adventure and learning.
We are a membership based organisation - that means it's something you join, something you belong to and are a part of. We have a growing membership of over 3,400 young people.
St John Youth Programmes focus on teaching first aid, health care, leadership and life skills with fantastic opportunities to meet new people, experience new things and of course⦠have fun!
Penguins are the youngest group within St John Youth and are headed by "Primo the Penguin" - the programme's mascot. The Penguin Programme offers a unique opportunity for young children to meet, have fun and learn practical skills along the way.
Youth Cadets participate in the 'Grand Prior's Award Scheme' where they work towards badges in various subjects. Because there's such a wide range of topics to choose from, Cadets can pick the subjects that most interest them.
