A Volunteer Ambulance Officer requires commitment, training and motivation. As a Volunteer Ambulance Officer you will be part of a highly skilled team, ready to respond should the need arise.
Volunteer Ambulance Officers generally commit to two 12-hour shifts per month.
In return for the time you invest in us and in the community, we offer you NZQA recognised training from the leading provider of pre-hospital emergency care in the country. You will be part of the St John team - and all the support, friendship and sense of team that comes with that. We will provide you with all the resources and assistance we can to help you do the best job possible.
Volunteer Ambulance Officers have the satisfaction of directly supporting their community through the provision of a much needed and respected service. If you have what it takes to become a Volunteer Ambulance Officer phone us toll-free on 0800 ST JOHN (78 5646) or complete the expression of interest form.
