Area Committee Volunteers play a vital role in contributing business, fundraising or administrative skills to support St John activities in the local community. Area Committees focus their energies locally, with Regions taking responsibility for ensuring that everyone in their geographic area of responsibility is working as a team to benefit St John as a whole. The arrangement is like that of a franchise: individual responsibility where it is most effective, but with information shared centrally and delivery of all products and services to prescribed practices and systems.
