Of the approximately 2,000 people who are treated for a cardiac arrest by Hato Hone St John each year, 27% will be resuscitated and transported to hospital, and 13% will later be discharged. Traditionally we have produced one annual Cardiac Arrest Report for all of New Zealand, but this year there are three: one for Hato Hone St John, one in conjunction with Wellington Free Ambulance and one for all New Zealand.

The Hato Hone St John Out-of-Hospital Cardiac Arrest (OHCA) Registry report is an annual scientific report benchmarking our performance in the treatment of OHCA.
