Bronwen from Auckland

On 3 March I collapsed at home , suffering anaphylactic shock after taking a new medication. When Joy, the paramedic, arrived she gave clear instructions to the other 3 ambulance personnel and at the same time kept my 2 friends fully informed. At all times Joy displayed respect, care and concern not only to me but also to my 2 friends. She was supportive and positive in her encouragement and checked in with me several times after we reached North Shore Hospital.
Joy is a credit to the service and is a great ambassador. I will never forget the care received at her hands.
