Julie joined the Priory Board in October 2020.

Julie is a lawyer and investigator who qualified in Australia where she held a number of senior roles focused on financial crime and governance in the Australian Public Service. These included Assistant Director responsible for the Tasmanian office of the Commonwealth, Director of Public Prosecutions and Regional Commissioner, Senior Executive Major Fraud and International and Special Counsel Litigation with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission.

Julie came to New Zealand in 2013 to take up the role of Director of the Serious Fraud Office.

Julie lives in Auckland with her husband and two beagles. She likes to travel, knit and read and is pleased with herself when she gets to the gym.
