Todd Skilton

OStJ, JP - Priory Librarian

Todd was appointed as the Priory Librarian in June 2019. The Priory Librarian is a volunteer role responsible for championing heritage and archives activities within the Priory. The Librarian also chairs the Priory Heritage and Archives Committee. In addition, In April 2020, Todd was appointed as the Honorary Order Librarian, which is responsible for championing heritage across the Order and providing advice to the Great Officers and Grand Council with regard to the history, customs and traditions of the Order. 

Todd is an enthusiastic numismatist and became involved with Hato Hone St John in 2009 as an Archives Volunteer researching and developing registers of those who had received awards and medals. In 2017, Todd was appointed as Assistant Registrar, a volunteer appointment he continues to hold concurrently with the Priory Librarian role. In this capacity he provides advice on non-financial reward and recognition policy and practices within the Priory and Order. Todd is an information/cyber security professional and is currently employed by a Crown entity as the Chief Information Security Officer. He resides in Wellington
