James Batt

Three years ago I collapsed. My heart was in atrial fibrillation and I was unconscious. I was only minutes away from driving my son home after collecting him from day-care. I am glad I had people on my side with fast thinking came to my aid.  They noticed I was very ill and in need of fast medical help. The 111 call was made and help was on its way. I ended up having to have open heart surgery at only forty. Far too young for this sort of thing. But I have now recovered to full health. St John is now part of my life. I am giving back to them with my time as a Youth Leader and First Aider at Events. Soon to be moving up and being out in the field helping others that need the help. St John always there and first to care. Thanks St John.
