Allan McCullough’s history with St John dates back to 1956, when he made the switch from fireman to ambulance officer. At one point of his career, Allan was working for the Police while also working for St John. He was involved with supporting search and rescue, and then armed defenders.

For many years, Guy Marks was a first aid volunteer at local and international rugby matches in Auckland. He was out in every kind of weather, dealing to every kind of rugby injury. As one of the archives team, Guy has an encyclopaedic knowledge of St John history, as well as the history of first aid in general.
