Deputy Chief Executive - Community Health & Iwi Engagement

Sarah Manley joined St John in 2011 as the Community Programmes Manager for Northern Region. Sarah has previously worked as Strategic Development Manager with YWCA of Aotearoa New Zealand, Communications Manager with World YWCA Switzerland, Human Resources with the Department of Corrections and Education Coordinator with the Health and Disability Commissioner.

Sarah became St John Director of Community Health Services in 2015, continuing her career path of enhancing the wellbeing of New Zealand communities. With exceptional stakeholder engagement and networking, excellent visioning and strategic skills plus a strong women’s rights background, she is an incredible asset to the organisation.

Sarah is responsible for our Community Health programmes and services including ASB St John in Schools, St John Youth, Health Shuttles, Retail Shops and our Community Care portfolio. Sarah is also responsible for Area Committee oversight, and supporting the Central, North and South Island Region.

Sarah has a Bachelor of Communication Studies, Majoring in Public Relations degree from Auckland University of Technology.
