A St John Medical Alarm consists of two pieces of equipment – a base unit and a push-button pendant. The base unit is either connected to a telephone line in your home or to the cellular (mobile) network. The base unit dials St John in an emergency and allows you to speak to us. The push-button pendant – is usually around the neck or on the wrist, and will work around your home and garden.
If you or your loved one would like to try a St John Medical Alarm before you commit, we can arrange an in-home demonstration followed by a free trial period of up to 30 days2. The full terms and conditions of the trial can be found here.
At the demonstration a St John Representative will visit your home to :
- Explain how the medical alarm and service works
- Show you how to call for help
- Set up a medical alarm for your free trial
- Tell you about financial assistance
