An associate member of the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), Lee Anne is responsible for the overall coordination of the Chief Executive’s responsibilities and leading the Chief Executive’s office in a way that is well-supported and connected across Hato Hone St John. The breadth of these responsibilities includes advising the Chief Executive, ensuring effective connection between governors and executive, managing the Board and ELT secretariats, and overseeing specialist advisory roles and projects on behalf of the Chief Executive.

In addition to this work, Lee Anne provides leadership and direction in delivering the organisation’s Government and Stakeholder Relations strategies, ensuring strategic engagement with the health sector, with a strong focus on partnership. A key part of this is ensuring Hato Hone St John has input into developing policy and legislation through the Parliamentary submissions process. She also supports the delivery of Hato Hone’s PR strategy in collaboration with the Communications team.

Lee Anne represents the Order of St John at ELT, through the work of the Order Matters team here in Aotearoa New Zealand and liaison with the St John international Office and Hato Hone St John associations in the Asia Pacific Region. These important connections aim to promote the work of Hato Hone St John, share best practice, and recognise and preserve the history and traditions of the Order of St John.

Lee Anne is passionate about Hato Hone St John’s Manaaki Ora strategy and believes this provides an excellent platform from which to make increasing life changing differences with our communities over the next five years. Our strong focus on equity aims to help everyone live healthier, happier and longer.

Lee Anne has over 14 years' experience at healthcare and clinical research organisations, as well as a number of international executive search firms. As a leader, Lee Anne is driven by her values and work ethic with an emphasis on people, making things better and doing the right thing.
