Before becoming GM, Craig was the Christchurch Area Executive Manager and spent the past eight years working for the Clinical Practice Team as a Clinical Coach and Clinical Team Manager. He has 25 years of operational experience within St John and the NHS in the UK, including practicing as an Intensive Care Paramedic, holding relief shift supervisor positions and Specialist Emergency Response Team and Urban Search and Rescue roles.

In total, Craig has over 32 years of service with St John, including positions with Community Health Services in Youth, Operations and several terms on Area Committee - so he will have a great deal to draw on in this role and is primed for the opportunity. Craig works closely with the South Island Regional Trust Board and Area Committees to build a strong community health focused St John.
