James McMeekin is the District Operations Manager (DOM) for Tasman, which covers Nelson, West Coast and Marlborough.

He joined Hato Hone St John from Wellington Free Ambulance in 2012, where he held a number of leadership roles including Team Leader, Manager – Emergency Care, and Manager – Community Care and Patient Transport Team Manager Operations for the Wairarapa region.

James is responsible for ambulance services in the geographically longest and most diverse district in the country.
