Cate was appointed to Priory Chapter July 2023.  She is a Registered Nurse working in speciality practice across acute and chronic paediatric care, her role bridges hospital and community care.  As a clinical leader, Cate works nationally, she has developed strong links with clinicians and teams from across the motu.  In addition to this work, Cate works in a projects role which is mandated to standardise care approach, address inequities with specific focus on improving outcomes for Tamariki Māori and Pacific.  Cate has governance experience within healthcare (nationally and internationally). 

Cate is a Grand Prior Cadet and has held multiple leadership roles in the youth program; currently holding the role of Regional Portfolio Manager for Northern Region; Cate has a passion for innovation, youth health, empowering youth voice and development and championing diversity across all areas of Hato Hone.
