Phil is an Elected Member of Priory Chapter. Joining St John in 1991 his roles were General Manager Central Region, Internal Audit Manager, including most recently the National Volunteer Advisor, and on the Central Region Trust Board as an appointed member along with various volunteer roles and he currently volunteers as an Ambulance Officer in the Horowhenua.  

Phil’s employment background is in electrical engineering in the energy sector and he has over 20 years of experience in the petrochemical industry where he is currently employed providing oversight and guidance across multiple jurisdictions in Health and Safety across Asia Pacific including Health promotion which he is incredibly passionate about.  He has extensive experience in engineering, controls, audit, health and safety, security, commercial and retail operations and is prepared to share his knowledge to improve wider organisational understanding.

He has a history of demonstrating an in-depth understanding of the organisation and is fully engaged and committed to the future success of Hato Hone St John.  Phil is married with two children
