Graham has been a Hato Hone St John Volunteer for over 42 years joining as an 8-year-old Cadet. He was been involved in the Youth leadership and Event Leadership for many years and was the Regional Youth Officer for Northern Region South Island. For the last 10 years Graham has been the Chair of Christchurch Area committee and a member and deputy Chair of the South Island Trust Board.

Outside of Hato Hone St John Graham and his wife Danielle own and run an Industrial supply and manufacturing company.
