An Adventure of a lifetime for those who care

In 2019, twelve people took on the challenge of being a ‘Charity Ambassador’ for St John, raising at least $10,000 each in return for the opportunity to star in adventure travel documentary – spending 5 days experiencing adrenaline-inducing activities around the South Island of New Zealand.

The amazing ambassadors who went on the trip were; Nigel, Tracey, Abram, Vin, Kieran, Michelle, Tanya, Alyssa (on behalf on Jed), Georgia, Hannah (on behalf of Mike), Noah.

The project was developed by Charity TV Global, and Australian production company who have been running this format internationally for a number of years. St John was one of six charities that took part in this inaugural New Zealand series, with each charity casting their own 12 ambassadors to star in one episode each. Over the course of a year in total the ambassadors raised over $120,000 and St John received around $70,000 of in-kind donations towards the adventure. The adventure took place from 4-9 November 2019.
