Stephen Twining – a tenth generation family member of the Twinings tea company - shared a special high tea this week with St John staff at the charity’s Mt Wellington headquarters.

St John was chosen by New Zealanders to benefit from the sale of Twinings newly-launched New Zealand Earl Grey – a special blend of tea selected after canvassing the tastebuds of the country last year.

St John will receive five cents from each pack of 24 and ten cents from each pack of 80 sold over the next twelve months.

Described by Twinings as “an Earl Grey to brighten your day – a stylish mix of sweet blossom and bergamot”, the chosen blend was the clear favourite during last year’s Twinings Great Earl Grey Taste-Off.
